Delicious! I walked in on an unassuming Tuesday and felt like I was making sure they were on their toes. Even in this case they were able to serve up a wonderful dish with minimal waiting time. Of course, I'm patient (in today's world maybe they were a bit slow) but I enjoyed every bite. If you're looking for a place to study or take a quick bite I would suggest this place. Sweetie D

My friend found this place looking for soup dumplings and then saw they had Dan Dan noodles her fave! They did not disappoint she last had them in china in 2019 and these tasted just ass delicious. You should have seen the look on her face! I had the Szechuan beef noodle soup and YUM! The beef took me back to Asia for sure. The buns are soooo good. Give this place a try! It's as authentic as I've ever had here.

Good soup dumplings! And very nice owner. I'll be back for sure to try some of the other menu offerings. Awesome to find real Chinese dumplings in SLC! Service was quick and friendly and the decor was cute and restaurant was clean. In fact the floor has just been freshly mopped when I arrived. Simple menu and very good.

This place is AWESOME! My husband and I have been looking for some authentic Taiwanese food, in particular, DUMPLINGS! Foodie and Sweetie DMarket offers a lot of different options. Soup dumplings, potstickers, chili wontons, soups, boba, popcorn chicken, xiaolongbao, and more!!! We were very satisfied with everything we ordered and look forward to going again sometime. We each ordered the dim sum combo box. I got the combo #2 with pork sui-mai, 2 bbq pork dumplings, shrimp dumpling, and a soup dumpling. I chose potstickers to go with that. My husband ordered the combo #3 with the same things I chose except he substituted a bbq pork bun for a sesame ball. And his came with a Dr. Pepper! All of the dim sum came out warm and all in one box. It was really really yummy and I loved having the different options to try. I think the pork bun and soup dumpling were my favorite. That was PLENTY of food for a single meal, but we also didn't want to leave without trying the chili wontons and the spicy popcorn chicken and WOW I'm glad we did!! The chili wontons are absolutely delicious. Definitely spicy, but we could handle it with a little Dr Pepper on the side. I would suggest those if you like a flavorful, spicy option. Then the spicy popcorn chicken came out and YUMMMMMM you guys!!!! That chicken was incredible. It seemed like dark chicken thigh meat that was fried to perfection with spicy seasoning on top. It was so freakin good and came out piping hot!! Overall, I feel like this food was FLAVORFUL. Very very flavorful. We loved it. The service was decent! I feel like another Yelp review explained it properly by saying that it didn't seem like the workers there expected people to stay and eat. We were the only people there, but the gal who put in our order and then cooked all our food brought everything out as it was finished cooking. It was nice to receive everything freshly cooked and hot! The little "cafe style" restaurant was very interesting. There were a few small tables and then a little seating area to just hang out by the front door. It was pretty clean for the most part, but I really didn't love what I could see underneath the drape that was covering the kitchen. Unfortunately things looked quite dirty back in the kitchen area. It looked old and dirty which wasn't very appetizing to see. As far as I know, the food came out to be clean and delicious, so it didn't bother me as much, knowing what part of the kitchen looked like. I really do think this was a delicious place to add a little diversity to the food options here in SLC!

Foodie and Sweetie has been on my to try list for awhile. Every time I do a search for dumplings, it shows up. Well today was the day. I ordered the dim sum combo #2 and the chili wontons to go. The dim sum combo comes with 5 items of dim sum + 5 potstickers or 3 spring rolls. I went with the potstickers. For the dim sum, I chose two sui mai, shrimp dumpling, bbq pork bun, and xiao long bao. Overall my favorite was the sui mai and the xiao long bao. The others were good but the sui mai and xiao long bao definitely steal the show. The flavors of the chili was great for the wontons but unfortunately there were too much wrapping and very little meat. The potstickers are average nothing to rave about.

Beef Noodle Soup in SLC!? YUM. I walked to Foodie and Sweetie while on an urban stroll around the city, arriving right when it opened. The staff forgot to unlock the front door, so I called to make sure they were available. I walked up to the counter for both Beef Noodle Soup and Shen Jiang (pork dumplings) which took 20-30 minutes to prepare because the kitchen was just firing up. The inside of the market is cute, especially the Instagrammable grass with cows in a front corner. Older Yelp photos indicate trinkets and snacks usually for sale, but I'm guessing this was removed during the pandemic. The Beef Noodle Soup was totally worth the trek, but I wasn't a big fan of the dumplings. Would still go out of my way to come back here again. Delicious Taiwanese food!
